Welcome to the fComp Web Creator!
In this file, I have provided simple instructions on how to set up and use the fComp Web Creator.
It is ready for anyone to use, even if you don't know HTML or ASP!

Step 1:
To begin, you will have to edit a file called config.asp. To do that, find the file (hint: it's in the same folder as this file), right-click it, and click on 'edit'.
Follow the instructions therein, and, when you are finished, return to this.

Step 2:
Upload all of the files in the same folder as this to your webserver.

Step 3:
Create a sub-folder on your server, and call it "images". Upload all of the files in the folder called "Images" there.

Step 4:
Visit your new page in a web-browser. Click on "Admin Control Panel" at the top-right corner of the page.

Step 5:
Log in. The current username is "Admin", and the password is "pass".
Remember: The username & password are CaSe SeNsItIvE. If you have trouble logging in, it is probably because you did not capitalize the first letter of the username, or because you capitolized something in the password.

Step 6:
Adjust the general preferences. The navigation panel is the area at the top of your website that has links to all of your pages.
Change your username & password. Write down the new ones some place safe so that you won't lose them.
Change the web-site name to whatever you're new website is to be called. This name will show on the Title Bar in the web browser, and it will be what people see when they bookmark your page.
Click "Save".


Congradulations, you've now completely set up your new web-page!
